14TH MEETING OF THE RAI REGIONAL STEERING COMMITTEE (RSC)

The RAI Regional Steering Committee (RSC), chaired by Prof Arjen Dondorp, held its 14th bi-annual meeting on the 1st November 2019 – Yangon, Myanmar.

Members of the Governments, National Malaria Programme Directors, International Organizations, bilateral and multilateral partners and civil society met to assess the progresses of the RAI2-Elimination grant (2018-2020, 245m USD).

Among the participants of the 14th RSC Meeting were also the Minister His Excellency the Minister of Health and Sports, Dr Myint Htwe and the Chair of the Global Fund Board, Dr Donald Kaberuka.

Making efforts against the threat of multidrug resistant malaria, The RSC Members engaged in a fruitful discussion on achievements, challenges and future planning, based on recent epidemiological trends.
